This is nothing more than a classic example of a former HC throwing an awesome QB under the bus and using his ex QB as a scapegoat (cowardly).

Because Kirk Cousins is an amazing QB with 3 Pro Bowls and a career completion percentage of 66.9%.

Patrick Mahomes = QB RATING of 105.8.
Aaron Rodgers = QB RATING of 104.5.
Deshaun Watson = QB RATING of 104.5.
Russell Wilson = QB RATING of 101.8.
Drew Brees = QB RATING of 98.7.
Dak Prescott = QB RATING of 98.7.
• Kirk Cousins = QB RATING of 98.6.
Tom Brady = QB Rating of 97.6.

7th All-Time in QB Rating.

And obviously QB Rating isn't the "Be-All-End All' because if so the likes of Joe Montana, Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Peyton Manning and so many of others would be ranked higher than Kirk Cousins but imo Kirk Cousins is one of the most efficient and one of the most underrated QBs of All-Time.

And trust me when I say we don't want to compare NFL QB statistics between Kirk Cousins vs. "Sam Darnold" (because I don't feel like embarrassing Sam Darnold right now).

You have said some incredibly stupid stuff before but you defending Cousins takes the cake. This guy is the definition of mediocre. He has only won 10 games once. The rest of his seasons he has been mediocre. You can look up all the stats you want, but Kirk Cousins is just not a winner. Look at his prime time record and that tells it all. You might hate Darnold, but it led to your current crush in Wilson. Cousins would have ruined that.

Just look at Kirk Cousins individual QB Statistical Production this guy is one of the most efficient QBs and one of the most underrated QBs of All-Time.

I remember heading into the 2021-2022 playoffs. I was having this same conversation with multiple posters on here who were telling me just how wrong I was for believing that Matthew Stafford was going to win the SB before heading into his game vs. Arizona. Before Matthew Stafford of 2021-2022 imo just like Kirk Cousins: Matthew Stafford was one of the most underrated and most underappreciated QBs of All-Time time because, well; Detroit.

Kirk Cousins is special and doesn't rank top 10 in QB Rating and mentioned alongside of All-Time greats for nothing.

He has efficient stats, but comes up small in every big game. Those are the real life facts, but Cousins is 8-17 in Primetime games with a loss to Cooper Rush. You love to spew stats all the time and Cousins is 59-59-2, but I'm sure his defense played good 59 times and played bad 59 times. Thats called mediocre. All his efficiency led to a .500 record with two ties. He is afraid to ruin his efficiency and thats what his coach was pointing out. Washington knew this and didn't want to give him a long term deal. To be special you have to win those games even if your defense plays bad and thats basically what his coach is saying. Especially when you are overpaying for him. With two very good to great WR's and Calvin Cook he basically has a .500 record. Stafford basically went to a dream team and finally won a SB. I can promise you the Rams don't win the SB with Kirk fuckin' Cousins. Other QB's that win SB's take chances and make huge plays and Cousins very rarely does. You are the only one that mentions Cousins with the all time greats.

QB play is not the only thing that game relies on but Kirk Cousins that went to a defensive minded team was suppose to be the icing on the cake someone to come in and help the offense score... Cousins is that boom or bust type QB... He is not going to win games consistently he will be the cause of losses though... Quarterbacks get the praise but deserve the blame and K.C. should get a lot of the blame for their losses...

And yes @DefenseWinsChampionships if Kirk would of signed with the Jets, that would of meant NO to Zach Wilson, NO to Robert Saleh and his crew...

a defensive mind team brings in a so called established QB to help the offense score points
to what be a .523 winning record and go to playoffs once? in over time... yea no...

Hey if you want him to be one of your favorite mediocre QB's of all time then thats on you. You are on an island on this one. And that is your opinion that he is underrated. Its definitely not an opinion based in fact.

I would be pissed to have an overpaid signal caller only producing slightly over 500
but if you like him, that is on you not a discussion based analysist
he would of come to New York and we would not have the young talent we have now
he would of come here with Todd Bowles and we would of flailed badly
his above 500 record would of been probably in the 350s instead of what he did in Minny
understand coaching are different, regimes are different
because of him they tossed in the towel of head coach that is established for a possibility?
