we have a really nice trio of outside CB's already in Echols, Hall, and Reed.
we have a really nice slot CB too in MC-II
they can hold their own with any receiving group "if" they don't have to cover 4 seconds.
IMO, you have to stick with DE if you keep 4. we simply need to force the opposing QB's out of their comfort zone.
Sauce would be awesome for us, but he'll get beat too w/o pressure.
in short, a better pass defense should rely on pressure related incompletions and turnovers rather than coverage sacks.
