Actually, I see nothing wrong with expecting players to live up to those expectations. Every job I ever had in this life expected me to do the job I was hired to do and that is both reasonable and fair. Football admittedly is a game but it's also a job/career. You want to stay employed here and get paid do what you were hired to do.
