I'm liking Ali Fayad, the DE from Western Michigan the Jets invited to camp as an UDFA.

Scouting Report: Undersized college pass rusher who can stand over tackle or come out of a three-point stance. Breaks down well, rarely gets knocked off his feet, and effectively uses his hands. Fluid moving in every direction, easily alters his angle of attack to chase plays in pursuit, and can bend off the edge. Disruptive force who fires off the snap with a quick first step and plays with excellent lean. Fluid when asked to twist or stunt, plays with balance, and displays outstanding closing speed.

Areas for Improvement: Consistently out-positioned from the action by opposing linemen and tight ends. Lacks bulk and may not have much growth potential. Long speed is a question.

Prospect Analysis: Fayad was a very good player at Western Michigan the past three seasons and is a potential Day 3 selection who projects as a situational third-down pass rusher on Sundays.

we had fun at that Pro Day, wow so that is two from the Broncos. this kid has an explosive first step. plays lean and able to use speed or power I know level of competition is against him but the potential is there. might not be immediate roster spot but definitely can see him on the practice squad to build out his frame some for this level.

This is the most civil Jets forum I have ever been a part of . Back when I started posting on message boards I joined this forum that was a lot like this when I signed up here . That forum never made it big but I will always remember Matt and the Greenhouse. We were a hoot just like this forum is now . Traffic was slow and we spread our wings only to realize that the world is a nut house . I know @gmf1369 would like us to support these YouTubers, but I will do so only from this forum.

You folks are a hoot .

sorry for throwing this in on the JETS UDFA page, but did anyone catch really notable UDFA's; i truly cannot believe they didn't get picked...

1.) Alec Lindstrom C- was supposed to be right there with Jarrett, Stromberg, and waaaaay ahead of Jurgens while some had not committed to go back to school; so when Jarr & Strom decided to return, i thought he was a lock for a 3rd or 4th rounder.

2.) Leon O'Neal Jr S- won every team award to win at A&M, and his stats were great. his 40 killed him, but this kid is solid in the run and the pass. Niners stole a starting S within the next 2 years.

Lindstrom notes from several sources: He has issues with flexibility and balance, bending at his back instead of sinking with his hips. This prevents him from maintaining his anchor. He has potential but is not ready at this time to plug n play.

On O'neal same sources: Tightness causes him to round breaks and turns. — Limited top-end speed. Receivers can easily run by when he's out of position at times, and he lacks recovery.
