Wide receiver turned tight end Lawrence Cager, has gained over 21 pounds of muscle this offseason as he made the transition to a new position. He is down to 8% body fat. Definitely someone to keep an eye on

when he was a receiver all he did was block and make acrobatic catches. now at 241 pounds he got stronger and leaner. still quick but at this point in time his best situation would be practice squad with Yeboah.Yes but can he block
Or maybe they pup Rucker on the PUP to start the season opening up a spotwhen he was a receiver all he did was block and make acrobatic catches. now at 241 pounds he got stronger and leaner. still quick but at this point in time his best situation would be practice squad with Yeboah.
well then keeping Bawden as the FB until Ruckert is ready to come back? like I said so many avenues they can take but reason to part ways with Bawden is that Ruckert and Wesco both can play fullback.Or maybe they pup Rucker on the PUP to start the season opening up a spot
he was an athletic WR who could run block, difference between him and Yeboah. Yeboah is willing blocker and has limited route tree. Cager can run block, now has the size and strength just need to prefect the pass blocking aspect. so technically Cager is two steps ahead of Yeboah. So will be interesting who takes that next step. It was because of his run blocking reason he converted to tight end (Lawrence Cager)Won't him at TE basically be Yeboah 2.0?
any thoughts on either becoming a legit ball player while stashed on our practice squad??Won't him at TE basically be Yeboah 2.0?
Could see Wesco being dealt mid season? One of those two being signed.any thoughts on either becoming a legit ball player while stashed on our practice squad??
...or sooner. If one of the two talked about above show up in OTAs and training camp, he could be gone before season starts. He maybe gone anyway depending on the health of Ruckert.Could see Wesco being dealt mid season? One of those two being signed.
