To further the argument that this was the plan all along, Saleh said he really likes the pairing of Becton and AVT on the same side, with the veterans together on the other side. Remember, it was months ago that AVT made the switch to RG.

I trust Fant more to stay on the field. I trust Becton more to play well at either position. The decision seems obvious.

Fant was clearly better at LT than RT. He played well last year. I think Becton and AVT has the potential to really open up the ground game with Breece Hall and Michael Carter. I expect a heavy dose of that next season.
