2 NFL Teams paying crazy money at QB

Clevland and Arizona both paid crazy money for QBs imo. The worst was Cards paying an average QB crazy money. Cards QB looked good for norm 8 games and falls apart in 2nd 8 games made me question giving QB that kind of money that is big on cap. I dont think his backyard play works and when he gets hit his career will be shortened from this style. Clevland I understand a little. Never done anything and signed a Good QB who hasnt played in a year. After suspension it might be 1.5 years. Of the 2 teams Clevland got the sure QB while Cards might have waay over paid for an average QB at best and in no way close to deserving Rogers money. So is the rest of NFL now paying average QBs crazy money? I guess we'll see how Cards do in Playoffs. I dont think Cards are a playoff team this year due to QB play or lack of prepared by QB.

The Jets will have to pay Zach Wilson soon enough. I'm sure he'll last another two-three years as our starter. Only question is, will he be worth these types of deals because this will be the going price? I believe and hope so!!!

Watson's contract is severely backloaded and the Browns are not paying him to play this season. This season he is only being paid nominal money to remain on the roster.

Murray is definitely better than average. Regarding "backyard play", I agree with you. But he ran much less last season.

Rumors Murrays dedication is lacking and first one out tbe door. I want Peyton Manning guy dedication to pay Rogers money and sure dont want backyard street play that breaks down. Last season was a good example of it by Murray. I guess we will see once paid if tbe little cocky guy dedicates to make Cards better. Maybe more pressure after last QB draft bust and redrafted Murray in panic mode to save their jobs. Id like to see Rookies do great and paid for being great, Murray is a huge risk with 2 years on rookie contract left and he fell apart in last 8 games made me think Murray and agent went panic mode to get big contract before it ends badly. Guess Cards willing to take risk even after awful second half to season.

Far as Watson who at QB play is top 7 from over a year ago. What bothers me is his lack of common sense thinking with his other head below. Control yourself like he does in games making crazy money. Im disappointed that teams willing to pay never done before contracts to guy with 25 sex accused of creepy sexual conducts. Im sure some are money grab and surprisex that this is set up for players.

Last season, he had a QB rating over 100 with a 69% completion percentage and about 2.5 TDs:Ints.
You probably think that Zach Wilson is going to be great in this league...and maybe he will. But Wilson didn't even sniff the numbers that Murray put up in his rookie season. You probably wouldn't be calling Wilson average if he had an 85 rating last season and you probably wouldn't call him average if he had nearly a 70% completion percentage with a 100 qb rating.
I tend to agree that Murray might be overpaid.

Gas I agree I am not sold on him . they have maybe three years to win with him & he needs to grow up. Not sold on Wilson yet ......As we would say in our Start-o-Matic days of picking teams. Time to pick again. He got his money & maybe playing baseball in a few years.
