HOW MANY GAMES WILL THE JETS WHEN THIS SEASON?

Only 3 BIG ones. Tons of smaller ones.
We have weapons on Offense. We have 2 good OG. We are a wait and see at the OT's and C. Of course our QB. Is he our BIG gun or just a water pistol? Defense is strong minus the Linebackers. Sounds like we should win 10 - 12 games. All we need is 4 players. D'Brick Ferguson, Nick Mangold, Chad Pennington and Mo Lewis.
The only prediction I will make is that the Jets will be much better in games 6-17 than games 1-5. A lot of new and very important veteran pieces combined with learning curves for the young guys will make it a rocky start, but after that we are going serve notice of a different Jets team. The key of course will be what happens with Zach.

Actually, you are. You're basically saying this is a 5 1/2 win team with a middle-of-the-road schedule.

The schedule is against teams that have played much more competitive than we have ( I can’t see any one arguing this )
And the lesser teams have improved as we have supposedly
( again that’s yet to be seen for all the bottom teams ) which is where the Jets are until proven on the field ( wins )
Talking preseason hype means nothing
As for middle of the road I’d say if you get 7-9 wins then your a middle of the road team .
Less than that the team still sucks
More than that I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

It was an inference. I apologize if it wasn't accurate. But I don't know how I could've inferred differently.
As many have stated this is a far more talented team than the one JD inherited. As much as Zachs improvement is important to the win total I truly feel the defense is the key to the Jets being more than a 4-5 win team. Urlach needs to get this side of the ball to play much much better than that he has shown so far. If he does this I see no reason that the Jets can’t win 8-9 games this year too much talent has been imported for them to be picking in the top 5 again next year Urlach is squarely on the hot seat
i don't disagree about ulbrich being on the clock.. if the D is ass again & woody wants his pound of flesh he could/would be the fall guy..
but this is saleh's defense, full stop.. he's just not the guy that loses his job if the D is ass again in '22..
Saleh wont lose his job after this year if defense is terrible again as then the Jets will be starting all over with a new staff. LaFluer is showing promise as an OC wouldn’t want to lose him and if LaFluer goes it would impede Wilson’s development since he would have to learn a new system If Defense is crap again Urlach is the fall guy not Saleh and the rest of the staff
Depends on the attitudes and the morale of the team by game 6. We have a lot of young players, and the NFL is a ruthless SOB.
A lot will ride on the D-line and Edge rushers. If they can get to the QB and stop the run, it will make the CB's job easier. There it will depend on the LBers and Strong Safety.
I am counting on the jets because the Guardians were cut. The cardinals have no CB's & their top WR is out for six weeks for being high as a kite...We start at KC too...not good
8 games...... with 6 wins in the last 9 games
Feeling optimistic today: 10-7 this year. I think we come out of first 4 games 3-1. Shock against Ravens, we should really win the Pit and Cle games anyway, and Bengals beat us like a drum.
