I agree 100%. I posted in another thread that switching Fant back to the left and putting MM in on the right where he played primarily in college with a few weeks to gel before Zach got back could be a good thing for our young team. I think that leaving brown as an (expensive) backup is not a horrible idea.Admittedly, I can’t give an expert analysis of o-line play. But from what I saw, the line kept Flacco upright and gave him time. Only two sacks and a few more pressures against a beast of a pass rush. Run blocking was avaerage.
I’m pleasantly surprised by the rookie Max Mitchell. Seeing that guy step in and not have any major problems is a positive development for the team. I was worried when D. Brown went down. Not anymore.
