No not sure. I was assuming he was. If not, then yes. Leave AVT there. The mosh mosh line that we had out there yesterday did better than any other combination.

Let me correct this statement, AVT should play LT until Max Mitchell comes back. When ever that is …

If Brown does return this week, I would play him at LT. AVT could then play RT to replace Mitchell.

end of the day until Duane Brown (shoulder) comes back and is cleared to play will only determine the lineup in question. but what if Duane practices and is not cleared going against the Fish Food next week the ideal to have AVT at Left Tackle makes sense. A full week of practice Herbig and if need be they can call up someone from the practice squad to play right tackle if the rookie is unavailable.

if AVT balls out again at left tackle there will be mentions for him to stay at left tackle even if Brown comes back, just saying.

If AVT is solid and reliable at LT, then he should be there for the long-term. Guard is an easier position to fill at draft day and Becton needs to be gone.

AVT can hold the fort at LT for a few games until Brown comes back. Herbig can replace him at guard. And McDermott can start at RT for a few games unless they like Remmers or Ogbuehi. They have options.

What are you seeing, hearing about Browns return?

Right now we have no LT for the future. If we have now found one in AVT by accident, this would be a great thing. Can Brown play anywhere else? We need to start getting guys into the positions that they will stay in long term so these guys can learn to play together

I read Brown is practicing. Don’t know how close he is. We can keep AVT at LT until either Brown or Fant returns. Herbig is a starting guard in this league. We’ll be fine. It isn’t the disaster everyone’s saying it is, unless AVT gets hurt. Then we’re screwed.

Remember we have some veterans on the PS, too. Remmers and Ogbuehi.

What are you seeing, hearing about Browns return?

he is eligible to return but there no guarantees he will, just a thought process he is an older player might need a couple more weeks to come back from his injury is all.
