All of the haters in the media, the Brady Quinns and Stephen A. Smiths of the world, proclaim the Jets as being horrible. When the Jets prove them wrong, they don't say they were wrong. Instead, you get excuses. They have beaten teams playing with backup QBs or with young QBs. They ignore the fact that Joe Flacco played a majority of the Jets' games this season, and their starting QB is also young. They ignore that the Jets were missing their top OTs on their depth chart, and had their third stringer at LT (only after he got healthy) and a GUARD at both LT and RT.
At least Brady Quinn did all that. Stephen A. Smith hasn't said anything at all after calling the Jets trash. Why? Because he doesn't have to. He can scream and rant, but he's never held accountable for his words. None of them are. They can proclaim doom and gloom, and if they're wrong, they either make excuses or they just ignore what they said. They constantly move the goalposts. Jets will be 0-9. When they're 3-2, all of a sudden, they haven't proven anything until they beat the Packers. If they beat the Packers, it will be the Patriots. Or the Bills. No matter what, these haters will never admit the Jets aren't some big joke. Like I have said for a while, LOLJets is cultural, and winning won't stop it.
The Jets have a lot of work to do before they are truly a good team. But they're not the trash they are made out to be. And it seems like the media hates that.
