I keep seeing Flacco thrown into this conversation. The question for me is, who would you rather have playing QB for this team, Flacco or Wilson?

I know what the answer is for me, by a lot. Wilson.

Wilson no doubt. Flacco has been thrown in to show the contrast in the passing game with/without Zach on the field. It is the only point of reference that can be used.

Nah no emotional issues. On my end, I’ve never put emotions in any of these posts, so don’t get in your feelings because I didn’t let you have the last word.

Yes 1-2 vs 3-0 is factually the record with the two QBs yet has nothing to do with the passing game that was being discussed and the apparent struggles of the young QB in that aspect.

So it’s really both. Yes Zach has struggled and Flacco hasn’t in the passing game. And yes Zach has had 1 great quarter (in the Steelers game), but hasn’t played well outside of that one quarter.

Even 2 games back, if you look at the bulk of his passing yards, it was gain on that huge catch and run by Hall on the wheel route.

He’s struggled to get it to the receivers. Is that 100% on him “No! There were some drops that they should have had as well” BUT has hasn’t been sharp with his reads or throws and he isn’t impressing at all.

I really don’t know what you’re looking for other than Pom poms and cheerleading. This is honest, actual evaluation. I’ve never said to bench him, I’ve never said he’s a bust. I’ve continually said “he’s struggling in the passing game and doesn’t look sharp, shit at times he looks outright lost!”

If I’ve said something there that is inaccurate please feel free to provide data and analysis to refute it.

Pom poms and cheerleading huh! Wow, that was pretty funny, I gotta give it to you! Look at it however you want. You sit here and say that none of us or I’m not providing statistical facts or analysis but we/I don’t have to because it’s all in the W’s. Zach is winning and Flacco wasn’t! Even the Browns game was more a miracle win or a flop gift game by the Browns.

With Zach these past three games, the Jets have dominated for the most part. Even that Steelers game it was clear that the Jets were the better team. Shit, they were about to gift that game to the Steelers before Zach came alive in the second half. The statical facts is that Zach is winning and not turning the ball over. Keeping drives alive and not killing us!

The stats on Flacco was we were behind all three games and Flacco had no choice but to put the ball in the air 40-50 times to win or make the game interesting at least. Flacco was getting sacked quite a bit, turned the ball over more than Zach and couldn’t keep drives alive for the most part. Zach is doing the exact opposite and they’re winning! That’s the statical facts for you!!!

I don’t know how to keep this thread on topic. It’s about the passing game, always has been.

Flacco is the only other QB to take a snap for the NY Jets, it’s the only basis for comparison.
