CMC was unbelievable for three years. All pro player. But those injuries have been increasing over the last few years. It’s a risky move for the 49ers, but if he’s past the injuries he’s still a game changer. That’s a big “if” though.
Carolina gets back some good draft capital. They might as well unload Brian Burns and DJ Moore, too. Make it a full fire sale and start over completely. I’d love a shot at Burns for the Jets. We could send Elijah Moore to purgatory.

And getting Burns in a deal for him would be a great return. Jets would have to throw in a high-mid round pick to make it work value-wise.
Have to agree. Getting a position of need in return for guy who has basically been a non factor is a no-brainer IMO.
Carolina has a good Defense. I don't see them trading Burns. BUT, you never know!!
The worst place to be is the middle. You’re either contending for the playoffs or rebuilding it. Carolina can stockpile a youth movement of draft picks by trading Burns and/or DJ Moore. They need to get a QB in round one and build the team from the ground up.
At least, this is what I’m telling myself so I can selfishly dream about Burns coming to the Jets.
