I knew going into this game, it was going to be an ugly defensive battle. The Jets defense did a heckuva job, and we found a way to get enough points on the board and hold the Broncos down!

Five of the next 6 games will be against tough opponents. This isn't to say that the Bears can't rear up on their hind legs, but at this point they look like a Jets win. The Vikings are another story, as are, of course, the Buffalo Bills. Twice. The dual dances with Belichick's Boys will not be waltzes, either. Bill's a wily old bear of a coach who doesn't take kindly to a loss.

The Jets coaching staff, and anyone on the team who functions as a sparkplug, have their work cut out for them in helping the team maintain a good attitude and image of themselves.

His ratio of yards run toward the goal line divided by yards run across the field [There's no such statistic, but one would be useful here,] is getting larger.
