This is a good read. I know I’ve been calling for Moore in the slot since last season. He seems best on the move and creating mismatches (which is also how he was used in college). I just feel like Lafleur is misusing him.

I agree. Moore is a slot guy. Too small to win jump balls on the outside.

Apparently it was reported that Moore’s blowup at practice was actually at Lafleur. Really wish that would have been kept in-house. If his agent was the one who really leaked the trade request, that was a strategic blunder by him.

Moore is a slot guy and should be used that way. I believe Tyreek Hill is used mostly in the slot. If he isn’t, he seems to run mostly slants, sweeps, screens and inside running routes from the outside position.

If anything they will use him on go type routes because he’s that fast. But the outside 50-50 balls, he’s too small to be competing with the bigger DBs. Same with Moore, it’s absolutely no difference!

I’m with you on that 1,000 percent but London was drafted one draft pick ahead of Wilson. If I remember that correctly. So we couldn’t go there with that. Unless you wanted them to trade up to get him. I believe G. Wilson can play the outside because of his jumping ability and catch radius!

G. Wilson plays much bigger than he is but Moore plays like a true slot receiver. Moore plays just like Tyreek Hill to me! Just not as good or he hasn’t had the opportunity to display that yet. I believe C. Davis, G. Wilson and Mims are good for the outside with Moore and Berrios playing the slots.

Moore doesn’t seem to even try to compete for the 50/50 balls, and watching him in college he always did the most damage on the move. Davis and Mims give us size at WR, G.Wilson also seems like a better fit on the outside. At this point, what do we have to lose? Mix it up and see what we have.

I love how LaFleur always stuck to his guns with the “Mims can’t play every WR position so he isn’t getting any playing time”, yet I’ve seen Davis play all of 1 WR position and he’s out there 90% of the time………..

I guess that MO is only used when it suits his purpose?

I'd rather see Garrett on the outside rather than taking hits on the inside. Don't want to lose ANOTHER star player. Trouble is we don't give our QB enough time to throw deeper passes.
