I know whenever I played anything against a better opponent, it just made me want to beat them even more. I didn’t expect Vikings or Seattle to be good and kinda hoped that Miami would be more jet like. If you factor that in, minus 1 buffalo game, the end of the season looked very easy. Plus, the bears thumped the cheatahs in cheatah land. That shows we can’t look past them either

what are you thinking for wins in these last 9 games Sack? If you were good with 7 wins on the season, are you still good with 7 if it means we end the season 2-8 in our last 10?

The thing is, I have difficulty seeing the fairness of moving the goalposts now. I do think 8 or 9 wins is more likely than 7, but I also don't want to be down on the team if it is only 7 or 8.

We have lost 2 key starters on offense and our QB may not have regressed, but is he getting better? You're now telling me that we can win 2-4 more games this year. I agree wholeheartedly. The Guys in Green may have gotten some bonehead plays out of their system in that game. I've lots of confidence in the coaching team to produce a 'tween game adjustment.

But it’s not even about the playoffs. If you polled this entire fanbase before the season and asked them how’d they feel about 8-9, 9-8 without making the playoffs, I’m pretty certain the vast majority would’ve signed up for a 4-5 game improvement over 4-13. Incremental progress was the expectation.

IMO playoffs aren’t important this season. It would be great, but we’re not a SB team, so it’s not the end all be all.

Development, team cohesion, forming an identity “on both sides of the ball” figuring out our strengths/weaknesses and finding ways to play to the strengths and a plan to address the weaknesses in the off-season.

We need to be building to a SB, that’s the most important thing.

i can't get my head around why some reject the realization the jets are making a legit playoff run.. or how the playoffs are not important because this is a year we are ahead of "the process" so let's not move the goal posts & just keep kicking the damn can down the road.. whatever..
