Why? Cause it led others to think playoffs? Cause of the descent start? The expectations should not have been raised. Have the Jets arrived? Have they turned the corner? I don't think they have earned the expectation. In my opinion they are one year away. In the meantime they will excite and disappoint. I look at them as a two year old toddler. They will at times amaze and other times get on your nerves. But to each his own. It’s interesting how many of these games don’t typically finish the way people think they will. I didn’t expect to crush Miami. But the Jets did. Didn’t expect to win in GB either.
The fact that the Jets started 5-2 raised expectations of the base. That’s what made the NE game soul crushing for so many. But we still need to temper expectations this season because we still have a 23 year old QB making the jump from BYU to NFL defenses. That is a major transition. I know some fans don’t want to hear that based on their impatience with this team, but it’s still true.

And Jupiter aligns with Mars.2023 was always the point where the stars were supposed to align with this roster.

So I’m watching NFL Live on ESPN and they’re talking about the fact that the Jets defense can content and slow this Bills offense down. We all know that but the problem is the offense can’t hold up they’re end of the bargain. So let’s say the defense can hold the Bills offense to about 17-20 points. Pretty respectable for a defense dealing with this Bills team, right! The Jets could outright win or lose this game in a respectable way!
However; the offense will turn the ball over at least 3 times and that will be the Jets demise! If the Jets offense can score 14-17 points without turning the ball over the Jets possible win this game but that won’t be the case! If the Jets could do this the defense could stay strong and healthy and maybe even cause a turnover or two themselves. The Jets could possibly score 7-10 more points off those turnovers and win this game.
Being that this won’t be the case this will most likely be a blow out. The defense will do their part for most of the game but wear down and the Bills will take advantage of that! So instead of a 20-17 win or lose, this will be more like a 33-10 stomping! SMDH
Not to jump ahead here….. but we will definitely beat the Pats after the bye. This week is gonna be tough to pull out a winYes. 5-2 raised expectations, but I expected us to beat Miami without Tua and their other injuries. Any team without their starting Qb is not the same. The Packers are a mess too. I didn’t write that game of as a loss
as for the cheatahs? Mac jones is not scaring anyone at this point. We have a better team then them for once and, to a man, we stunk. That was incredibly disappointing and has brought most with high hopes after the 5-2 start down to earth, back to reality, that unless Zach can become the man, that we are at best a team that wins 7,8,9 games at most. 9 is good, but 7 or 8 means we finished the last 10 games 2-8 or 3-7. Neither of those is very encouraging
Here’s my concern and thought process, the Bills will put tons of pressure on the Jets all game and all around. They will score points, it’s virtually impossible to stop or shut them down. They’re defense is also serious business and will apply pressure on Zach like nobody’s business. This all means that the offense will have to score to keep up with the Bills team but CAN THEY???There’s a lot of assumptions in there. Why are we so sure the offense will turn the ball over? Assuming you’re talking about Wilson. Other than last Sunday, were we concerned about Wilson throwing INT’s? Hasn’t every game been different?
Asking for a friend.
I thought we’d definitely beat them last weekNot to jump ahead here….. but we will definitely beat the Pats after the bye. This week is gonna be tough to pull out a win
Right they should have been 2-5 or worse. Then when /if they finish only another 2 or 3 wins we would expect it. But that gives us 4 or 5 wins which is not improvementI’m with you. 5-2 was Fool’s Gold. This team is still learning how to be a winning team. 2023 was always the point where the stars were supposed to align with this roster.
The only way we win this week is if the Bills overlook us. This happens, but I have a hard time seeing it here. My hope is we escape with no injuries. Here’s my concern and thought process, the Bills will put tons of pressure on the Jets all game and all around. I don’t think they can and don’t think any of us really do! If they could this would be a winnable game with a little luck on our side but Zach is the main dude and problem here. Let’s all hope he’s improved in a week, can help move the ball a bit and doesn’t turn the ball over. If that’s the case then who knows but if he can’t, the Jets are in trouble. POINT, BLANK, PLAIN and SIMPLE!
If we thought what happen last week was bad, wait till you see this!
I don’t live in a world of “shoulda coulda”. The Jets were 5-2 and should make no apologies for another team not having their starting QB. Teams win all the time and benefit from other team’s injuries. All the time. Nobody’s going backwards and saying “yeah, but”.Right they should have been 2-5 or worse. I was just speculating off your 5-2 is fools gold statement. If not for some luck, we are 2-5 or worse right now instead of 5-2 and if that were the case, we only win 5 games with 3 more wins. None of that matters, we won what we won so far, but 2 or 3 more wins and a 2-8 or 3-7 finish is a definite possibility.I don’t live in a world of “shoulda coulda”. Your hypothetical here won’t ring true. The Jets are not winning 4 or 5 games. Unless they lose 9 games in a row. That ain’t happening.
He’s just trying to be one of the boysNY Post reports that Robinson is questionable with his knee injury. Surely Trader Joe hasn't been sold a bill of goods. Not so important this week bearing in mind the lop-sided nature of this game, let Ty and Bam carry the load.
