I have long said LOLJets and all the hate the Jets get nationally was cultural. I said it was ingrained. Others said that winning would end it.

Well? All the Jets hate seems to still be going quite strong.

I’ve seen a few people in media, especially former players, commend the Jets on their performance to this point. How could you not commend the performance against Buffalo? These players know a good team when they see it. And the Jets have become a respectable team this year. The defense is balling out right now. You can’t argue with 6-3. And you can’t use the backup QB argument anymore either. They just took down Josh Allen.

But you will always have the Jets haters in media who cling to SOJ, Buttfumble, Just End the Season, Geno’s broken jaw, 1-15 in 96, etc. The Jets winning even elicits smarmy skepticism from these empty heads. You know the reaction: “what? The Jets? What is this?” As if this is something completely unbelievable. Like bad teams aren’t supposed to ever turn it around.

A pro sports team is what it is today and what it was for a string of yesterdays. Today's Green Bay Packers carry with them more than a whiff of the Lombardi days. And yet, what is a pro team? Over a period of, say, 30 years, not a single player or coach is the same. The uniforms may be different. The team may have even changed cities. Not even the name of the team is inviolate. The New York Jets were, when I first knew them, the Titans. Yet, there is a something -- an essence -- that is surprisingly permanent.

i give saleh & his locker room a lot of credit with how they have handled the outside noise in the worlds biggest media market.. this is not a thing for them...if anything it's added motivation to keep pushing..

this is a jet fan related issue.. & honestly i'm getting a kick out of watching clips of jets suck truthers getting called out on air about not respecting what the jets are doing.. i'm enjoying this.. we are winning ball games..

This Jets team is made of the right stuff. Only question is Zach and as long as they and he can keep himself under wraps, sky’s the limit! If not this year than their building it correctly for years to come. Zach needs time to learn and let the mental and emotional aspects of the game catch up with his talent and potential. As long as they keep that defense as hungry and hunting the way they are and the oline and running game can hold up, the Jets just might be a playoff team this year and Zach can just let the team lead him. Maybe in a year or two he’ll be ready to lead them???

I’m stoked that the Jets Rookies are finally getting it! I wasn’t sure how long it would take into this year. I’m still mad our GM didn’t have the vet WR and O Line fixed to help find out how good Zach will be! I hope we beat the Pats because that’s my pissed off point losing to that crap. But hey the GM and Head Coach and QB I wanted looks like they have got the Team buying into it! Respect our Jets and finally wear my Jets gear with Pride

I was worried about my 3 years and ending my Jets fandom going to next year being the last and now I think they got 50% of it. Now if they don’t screw up Zach growth we will be fine next year
