Pathway to the Playoffs

I’m tired of hearing about the playoff drought. Sorry, but I want playoffs this year and I think we can get there if we play the way I think we can

I’m split on this, but in a good way. On the one hand, I’m happy the team is ahead of schedule like SE said. This looked like a final rebuild year before the real kickstart in 2023. But the team is ahead of that. If this team continues to play great defense, and the offense plays like it did against Buffalo, Denver, and GB (Zach game manager, run the ball), then why wouldn’t we want/expect playoffs this season? They’re 6-3 and in a great position to do something now. Let’s GO!

Here’s my closest guess to how the Jets get into the playoffs. It’s got to be 10-7 to get in assuming the best teams will win 12-13 games. The Eagles might win 15.

I broke down the remainder of the schedule into two blocks. The first is the easier games, the other is the tougher games.

At home: Lions, Bears, Jaguars. Win 2 out of 3 of these games. A letdown should be expected.

On the Road: Patriots, Bills, Dolphins, Seahawks. Vikings. Win 2 out of 5 of these games. Every one of these games will be a battle. But we’ve risen to the challenge already this year against supposedly better teams.

Is this realistic? Thoughts?

The 2nd Patriots game is looking more like a must-win.

I really did not think the Jets would not make the Playoffs this year. After knocking off the Bills. There is NO doubt in my mind how good this team really is. Imagine if Breece Hall and AVT were not out for the year. Not only will we make the Playoffs, but we will let the rest of the NFL know we are Super Bowl contenders. Next year we will own the NFL and the Super Bowl.
