Strev is a leader. I feel like he is the perfect QB for a defense like this. Can make plays with his feet. Quick decisions. Does he have the same arm? No, but this team would rally around him. I know the team is 5-2 with Zach, but those two loses were 100% Zach's fault. Zach can make some amazing throws, but can't throw a screen pass. These side arm, for mechanic type throws work for Mahomes. Zach is closer to Hack than Pat.
It was a bit of a trap question, an invitation to pull all his offensive teammates under the bus with him. Granted the loss of Herbig was one O-line loss too many, but he should have deflected the question onto himself and said that he needs to do a better job.

I'd hate to agree with you on this one, but you just might be right! If the Jets had a consistent game manager at QB, not even a above average QB but a consistent game manager, we'd probably be undefeated right now.
Playoffs are right there so I believe you play to win and Wilson is not the answer at the moment. As shitty as people said Flacco was, at least he could move the offense. The defense is much better now than in 1st 3 games. The Jets offense needs a spark and a leader.
Once again I don’t want to agree with you on this and I want Zach to be our guy but this might be a necessary evil. At least for right now and maybe even period. You can’t fit what just don’t fit and as great as Joe D draft picks have been, it looks like he got this one wrong!
Winning this year is important for the future IMO. I don't care how they do it. Injuries, Pandemics, etc can derail a season so I think we go all in with whoever gives us the best chance to win.
