No more pitiful than that of the opposition. Really good defenses mean that the offences are contained and controlled. We watched a game where the defensive squads had their motors running.

Differences of opinion are what make for horse races. The game was decided by a kick-off return touchdown. Those events are, like lightning strikes, unpredictable. When the situation's just right, one occurs. They're rare enough so that, like lightning strikes, it's not possible to mount a defense which eliminates the possibility.

You can't always keep making excuses for Zach. He's just not that good. We struck out with Darnold and we struck out with Zach. I didn't like Zach from the beginning. I thought he was overrated. We have good WR's and good RB's. Our Offensive line stinks and so does our QB. The only good thing about Zach is, we are not paying him 40 million a year to play as a 4th string QB.
But the best we could have hoped for if that return didn’t happen was a 3-3 tie in OT
We going to have to agree to disagree on this one. 2 yards in the second half. 2.8 inches a play I think someone posted. I don’t care how good a defense is or how bad conditions are, that is absolutely pitiful.

We've several radio stations here in the NYC area devoted to sports. I'm a long-time radio nut, so I listen frequently. All, including the station devoted to the New York Giants, have been down on Mr. Zachery Wilson. Like, really down on him. I get that. What I do not get is that several of the personalities on these stations have played the game. Unless I missed it, not a single one mentioned the Jets offensive play caller, either by function or by name. One would think that Mr. Wilson was calling the plays.

The league will make sure of those two losses. Jets could be kneeling up 40, and Goodell will get together with Kraft and Belichick to establish some new rule before the game ends that grants 41 bonus points to the Pats.
The weather makes no compensation in the W-L column. Execution does, and with Belichick it's the refs to a degree.

The weather's the same for both teams. Depending upon the style of play, it can hamper a team's offensive game. I believe that's what happened, in part, in this second meeting with the Patriots.
As far as coach William Belichick having some influence over the behavior of the game's officials, that would be a hard case to prove, and a blockbuster if provable.
