Bears, Jags, Lions. That gets you to 9-8, low water mark. If Jets fans are upset with this year's team being 9-8 after the disgraces of the previous seasons, then we really are an unrealistic fan base.

My point is, there are three teams the Jets should beat. Over the course of a season, or even half a season, there are games you should win that you lose, and games you should lose that you win. They relatively even out. So if the Jets lose one of those games, they may also win one of the games they're not supposed to, such as the Seahawks or Vikings.
The thing is, I trust this front office, and to a slightly lesser degree this coaching staff. Douglas has ABSOLUTELY earned it, and Saleh (and more Brick than LaFleur) have probably earned it.
If they decide to move on, I am on board. If they hold out for one more season, I will trust their judgment. What would bother me is if Wilson gets next year, shows no growth, and they pick up the fifth year.

Because our name is still Jets, I’d be shocked if we win all 3 of those. But , Ypres 9-8 is about what I hoped for before the season started

If the 49ers can't sign Jimmy G then the Jets need to go get him. They would be stupid to let him go though. Just think we could have traded that #2 pick to the 49ers and rolled with Jimmy G for a few years plus had the #3 pick and other picks. Could have had Chase or Pitts. This team would be a SB contender with Jimmy G.

I had hoped for progress, and 7-9 wins. They have gotten progress everywhere but at the QB position, and are one win away from the low mark of where I had them.
