If the Jets win their remaining WINNABLE games that would mean Zach has played reasonably well. So I would take that no problem. I would be ecstatic if they finished .500 or above.

The thing is Zach is on thin ice with his Teammates. Not good. We all know what was said and He needs to smooth that over or good luck winning another game.

The mind eff is that Flacco still leads the team in TDs, five to ZW's four. And Flacco hasn't played in two months. WTF?

I had hoped for progress, and 7-9 wins. They have gotten progress everywhere but at the QB position, and are one win away from the low mark of where I had them.

If it’s Flacco this week, I would hope he looks better than Zach against a week defense in the Bears. But I don’t picture Flacco playing again next year so next year we are still screwed. Not sure about White, but he couldn’t be worse and the team seemed to like him

Here is my take on this mess. I honestly think this is coming down to a situation between LaFluer and Zach. Saleh isn’t happy with either one and is probably looking for a happy medium between the 2. Zach isn’t happy being handcuffed by LaFluer. When Zach shit the bed at the post game presser, and said he didn’t let the D down…. He probably meant it because he felt LaFluer handcuffed him somehow, and LaFluer was responsible for the shitshow. But the fact Zach couldn’t even perform rudimentary throws kinda bags that whole thought process. It will be interesting as to how this will work out this offseason, because I don’t think Mike and Zach can coexist from an offensive philosophy standpoint

This may very well be the case. Lafleur wants a game manager and Zach wants to be A. Rodgers or Mahomes 2.0. Questions is does Zach even have that much talent to be either of those guys? If he did I would think he would at least be able to handle the game manager stuff very well and allow Lafleur to see that he can open up the offense for Zach. I think that’s exactly what it is. Heat of the moment. The players are saying things that are not consistent with the “lost the locker room” narrative. That’s all media speculation.

I don’t doubt it bugged some players, especially on the D. But this stuff is often times overblown.

Flacco has been a good team guy for both the Ravens and Jets . His time or tenure is IMO done. He'll always have his football smarts, but the old flesh ain't willing. He beginning of the season was evidence of that. His passes were lofts and no velocity. Similar to a backyard toss around with a youngster. He should enjoy his money and depart from competing.

Pretty obvious that Zach is never going to be the guy because he plays scared….period. So….looking at vets at the start of the new league year. Carr….. will probably have to be released, Jimmy G….. FA and knows the system… Mayfield will probably be gone….. Kyler Murray (I think he lost his job to McCoy) could use a change of scenery…. Minshew, FA and could be gotten on the cheap. I think if you swing a deal for any of these guys, they come in as the starter with ZW as the backup. I just don’t see any QB’s in the draft (at the range we will be picking at) that can come in and start. Thoughts????

I think they in should get Jameis Winston. I know he thow's interceptions but he's not scared to move the ball down the field. I read he had a bad attitude but maybe he's getting older now , he has matured. Thoughts??

With a couple of tweaks, the O can be dangerous, especially if Breece comes back in the same form and we draft well again. So now, JD is going to go all in again hoping the light goes on for ZW? Not a chance in hell. Sticking with ZW in 2023 who again shows the same level of ineptitude might get everybody, including JD, fired.

Agree. I’m not saying Wilson’s earned anything here. But you’re right, sometimes QB’s take more time than impatient fans are willing to give. All of this is magnified because the defense took a gigantic leap forward this year. So fans want it right now. Like SE has referenced, the goalposts have moved.
