Decision-decision huh!!! I’d say the way Zach is playing and even more so, his attitude should tell them he has to go. Joe D did great since being here with free agency and drafting. He just got the most important position wrong. That should buy him a few more years to get that right. What Saleh and the rest of the CS has done over the past year should buy them a few more years also. If Zach has been this kind of problem all year, plus his play and his attitude towards these losses is really the case, cut your losses like the Cardinals did with Rosen and move on!
Whether it's a half a game, a full game, or the rest of the season, Zach needs to be benched ASAP! Saleh is risking losing the entire locker room! Zach isn't getting it on the field or off of the field! The guy needs to be humbled and put in his place! Plain and simple!

Well….. noodle it for a second…. Zach is frustrated. Do you honestly think he is frustrated because he truly knows he is a shitty player ? No… he is frustrated because he feels LaFluer isn’t game planning to his strengths … whatever those may be . My question is LaFluer’s system. Does it really consistently work? It worked once with MW, and worked again with MW and Josh Johnson. But other than that, I really have not seen it work with Zach. My other question is Zach. Is he good in another type system, or does he just suck.? I honestly don’t know the answer to either question
So now this is crucial, Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless are actually talking about the Jets! Shannon must have insisted they talk about this topic! Otherwise Skip would have never even thought to speak about the Jets! Finally a topic on this show that isn’t about the Cowboys or Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers or Lebron or Kevin Durant! They NEVER seem to talk about anything except these topics, especially the Cowboys. Besides, I thought Skip Bayless hated the Jets!!! He’s such a fucking asshole!

Everybody is chiming in with opinions. For once, the Jets are lead story in every sports show.
One opinion which makes sense is if Saleh benches Zach, and the back up isn't an upgrade, the team will implode. OTOH, the defense was standing up for Zach.

I originally wanted Zach benched immediately. However as it has been pointed out Chicago's defense is suspect so this could be a chance for Zach to show improvement. If he doesn't play much better then bench his ass at half time. The reason I'm willing to give him a shot is that his last 3 games have been against the 2nd and 5th ranked defenses in the NFL. Chicago is ranked 29th so if he still sucks then, fine, we will know he is not the answer.
What choice do they have at this point? Especially with these garbage ass comments Zach made after the game. Saleh has to show Zach and the team that he nor anyone else can’t get anyway with that shit. Even if he only sits him for a game for a lesson learned type situation, something has to be done! He can’t let this slide or it will look horrible on his part and he’ll lose all respect!
The Jets should and could have won both games if Zach made 2-3 throws he should have. Last game obviously was without the turnovers but he still couldn’t make a clutch play. The game 3 weeks ago was the 3 int killers! Whomever they play probably won’t make all those mistakes and even if they did, I’m sure they would at least be accountable for them! That goes a long way.
So we’re just going to let his post game comments slide??? Forget his game play which has been bad enough. His post game comments alone should warrant a benching for one game at least, this game!
It really is funny watching people lose their minds over Zach Wilson after this performance. The media is such a circus of clowns saying the most outrageous things.

They have been winning in spite of Zach. When needed him twice he couldn't come through. Tons of red flags from day one with this kid.

Come on blindside, this needs to be done in the worst way. At least to teach this kid a lesson and wake him up HOPEFULLY at the least. He deserves all the scrutiny and this benching. It’s just that simple!
Not saying he doesn’t deserve a benching. He’s struggling and sometimes young players need a reset. Just like Saleh said. But the way the loudmouths in the media talk about this you’d think he was done with the Jets. Listen to Saleh, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Everything has to be shock and awe with some people. It’s like they’re lives are defined by polar extremes. Some people need to calm down about this.
