Is it me, or have the Jets hit the friggin' jackpot this season with facing backup QBs? Unlike the past decades of debacles, we seem to have caught every break in the early part of the year. Oh, no. Now I've jinxed it.

Should the New York Jets win 2 of the remaining 6 games, they'll finish with a winning 9-8 season. That's remarkable for a team which was one of the league doormats but a season ago. It bodes well for 2023-4.

Knowing Rex' nearly legendary understanding and appreciation of the human foot, it's a shame that Dempsey could not have been a part of the team during Rex' tenure.
Agree but how will the fans and media react to the Jets going 2-4 the rest of the way? It will be a meltdown of epic proportions. All the usual bluster about SOJ and how the season was a complete failure despite a 5 game turnaround.
