I cant't remember the last December where we haven't been talking about who we need to get in the upcoming draft. Says a lot about how far we've come. The best part about it is that we didn't have to mortgage the future and rely on expensive rentals. This is a young and talented team sprinkled with some quality vets and the whole thing seems sustainable. I am truly excited about the future of this team.

This team has finally been built the correct way because we finally have a competent GM and good coaching. The arrow is pointing way up for the Jets. It only took going through 11 years of bad hires and crappy drafting by Idzik and Macc to realize it. No more FA signings like Trumaine Johnson and LeVeon Bell, giving them the bag to stink up the place. This front office knows how to put the right players in the right system, and obviously these past two drafts have been home runs. The foundation is built.

We just need White or eventually Wilson to be the franchise QB. No more start overs at QB. Somebody take the reins already.

It's nice to finally have a roster talented enough that we don't feel we have way more holes to fill than we have draft picks. The only position that should be a real concern for us is QB and where we will be picking this time there aren't likely to be any stars at that position available. Hopefully we have that spot covered already in house. We should know by end of season. Fingers crossed here.

It allows the team to draft a QB in the next couple drafts, when the draft falls their way, and then let that drafted QB take over from White. It’s my hope that Mike White becomes better than what Ty Johnson has become to this Jet fan base. That being someone that most don’t believe in but just hangs around and frustrates the heck out of fans who don’t know what the coaches know.
