Mike White

Last season, Mike White torched Cincinnati and then later had a 4 int game. I don't know how far he will go now but it's his job to lose.

In his defense, he played part of a cheatah game, 20/32, 202 yards, 2 tds, 1 int
next, beat the afc champion, 37/45 , 405 yards 3 tds 2 ints
and then threw 27/41 317 yards 3 tds and an int in a partial game loss to the colts,
before throwing 4 int’s against one of the best defenses in football last year. Still 24/44 for 251 yards

cheatahs ,Bengals, Colts, Bills. pretty harsh games to be thrust into and he still had pretty respectable numbers in all

Plus we have to factor in that the team he had last year was entire different than this one, night and day in fact. The Jets defense was last in the league, the oline was 10 times worse and he had no real offensive weapons. As a whole he had no real weapons!

Micheal Carter and Elijah Moore were his best options and they were rookies. With the sorry oline, they did their best. Berrios developed because he was forced to last year. Mims was hurt/sick and having his issues with the team. C. Davis was injured and they had no TEs at all.

Not the mention a first year coaching staff. So those stats look even better now that you factor in all of this. We’ll see where this does, this will be very interesting!

Someone may have posted this already but I just heard a stat that over the past two years, the games that Zach Wilson didn’t play in the Jets have the number one ranked passing offense. However; the games that he did play and they had the 30th or 32nd ranked passing offense. There are no words!!!

Anyone else see the video of them boarding the plane with a bunch of them wearing “Mike F’n White” t-shirts? Even Braxton who seemed to be super tight with Zach. MW is SO much more respected in that locker room. You could see it how a few of the guys mobbed him during his on field interview after last weeks game. I don’t remember ever seeing that with Wilson.

Meh. I think we’re reading too much into it.

The guys are rallying around Mike White. He’s risen from 3rd string to the starter. Of course you’re gonna be fired up for the guy. All this speculation that it’s means something negative towards Wilson is a big reach. Mostly by fans who’ve hated Wilson since the draft.

Zach was benched because of his play and maybe because of his attitude. I've heard that Mike White was outperforming him since training camp. The Jets were winning because of defense and running game not because of Zach Wilson.

was watching an all throws vs the bears video & white's footwork is so dramatically cleaner than wilson's it's almost laughable.. that & he willingly climbs the pocket & steps into his throws like a pro.. a pleasure to watch..

& the narrative that white has a shitty arm is a lazy take.. the guy throws intermediate passes with plenty of zip on it..
