Was it unfair how the fans treated Darnold? Sanchez? Geno? Pennington?

There’s a difference between all of those QB’s. Pennington was a serviceable QB who played well for the Jets and Dolphins. Didn’t live up to the draft status but hardly a bust.

Sanchez was average. I guess you could call him a bust considering the supporting cast. Should’ve done better with the receivers he had (Edwards and Holmes)

Darnold played on a crap Jets team. We’ll never know what he would’ve done with the current supporting cast.

Newsflash. Geno Smith is good. Look at the stats and Seahawks record.

So yeah, premature bashing of young QB’s is sometimes uncalled for.

where will he sink or swim?! not trying poke the hornets nest but wilson ain't getting his job back with white on the roster..

the locker room may or may not be big fans of wilson the guy the player or the teammate.. fine.. there are no such issues with white.. they openly love all 3 of those things with him..

Are they saying Mike White doesn’t have talent? Or that Zach Wilson does?

Mike White can do things Zach can’t do. Zach is great at eluding the rush. Mike White can’t, but he can run the offense and Zach can’t. Zach is not a leader or at least not from what I’ve seen.

Chemistry matters unless you can’t play. Mike White can play. Wish Zach had all the intangibles that White has but he doesn’t.

Fwiw, if Zach can get his fundamentals down and learn how to take accountablity for his play, all of that is teachable, he is the guy. He has intangibles that can't be taught. It was good to sit him and regain his overall confidence.

I’ve said from day one to play White at this time. And to keep riding that train if he’s playing well.

That’s not “fascination” with Wilson. It’s not quitting on him like some fans are so eager to do.

I think Mike White has the "it". Zach is quite athletic, more than most. He has the ability to scramble go further from the LOS, and on many occasions, "3rd and 23". Good kid, hard worker, but....
