White's Week Not Looking Bright

Slim chance at best for White to play Thursday. His worst rib has to calcify so as not to move and possibly puncture his lung. Football aside, I'd rather him not rush into a game which thanks to yesterday is probably meaningless. Jets do lead the NFL in historically meaningless games. We can't even sport a decent Spoiler's Record.
I even enjoy his actions when he plays. The determination, focus, emotion; makes Zach look like a mannequin.

Yeah honestly I was never expecting him to play this Thursday. Cracked ribs take time to heal. Even if he can deal with the pain, it just isn't worth the risk.

I seriously doubt he will be available to even play Sunday after next.

oh i bet this is music to our old friends ears.. although i would bet he wouldn't be buying the "pressure" from ownership part.. no, if coach says something at a presser it simple must be true..

I'm not sure if I would want White playing behind this porous offensive line. They are struggling with protection and run blocking. These last opponents will focus on stopping the run and daring us to pass into man coverage. Lafluer could design more rollouts and QB runs. Just make Zach slide. Can't risk losing him trying to gain extra yards.

Jags reporting that White is already out. Strev should be #2 if we want to win this game, the threat of the QB run is one way of hampering the pass rush. We don't hear so much these days about 'Nasty Nate' and his run blocking.
