I remember like it was yesterday
Me and my dad are watching the game
I’m on the floor ( probably eating chips or something )
We’re watching it on our Motorola big screen 25” console tv .
I think that’s the biggest at the time .
After the play I said
Omg we’ll remember this play forever.
And I guess we all did
You were probably in the playpen not allowed out !!

RIP to a great player. I met him when I was a young kid. We were at the NJ high school all-star game. One of my brother's teammates was playing in it, I think at Rutgers...maybe 1980, 81 or so? Think they played that all-star game in the offseason.

I remember the Charles Chips ad on the scoreboard at Shea. We used to get them in the big tins, and my mother would load up those tins with Christmas cookies.
