One good thing we can take from this Jaguars loss!

Zach sitting and holding a clipboard, holding a garbage can, or holding Salehs dick is NOT going to fix the problems. The guy has no feel for the game and cant process fast enough. Unless he has a brain transplant, that never going to change. Football…. in a way…. Is like golf. You're either naturally good at all aspects of the game….or you aren’t . You’re never going to be Tiger Woods just by visiting the driving range. Lets just face it….Zach isn’t and never will be the guy here.
PERFECTLY SAID! Couldn’t have put any better myself! Either you have it or you don’t and Zach doesn’t!

I'm glad I was on that island with you buddy. I'm also of the belief that Saleh is not cutting it as a HC. I know we are always on the coaching carousel, but this team was not prepared to play many times over the past 2 years. He said it's not about the playoffs. WHAT??!! Get rid of Zach and Bob. Go full steam after Payton.
compared to the jags coach he was a kid yesterday

because of his contract he has all value in a trade because he is a first round pick they can take his current deal which the Jets will eat 30% in a trade which would make him really attractive to a coach who can use his skill set. Brian Daboll can do something with Wilson and open the door for the Giants to offer Saquon an extension. Just saying there are a couple other teams that might be interested like Houston or New Orleans
Trading him would generate negative cap space?

He already got his guaranteed dollars spread over 4 years so technically yes but need to move on and take the hit
16 mil in cap space..it'll be 11 mil by the time Wilson is traded. To keep Quinnen, the team would have to clear cap space...maybe Becton is gone and Mosley too. Or Mosley restructures.

Personally, I wouldn't want to trade for Wilson unless it was a firesale offer.

ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. Keeping Zach around as an inactive player or cutting him and eating the cap hit is the exact same thing. No value for the money spent. At this point, just cut him after June 1 if you cant trade him earlier. The players aren’t fond of him (so I hear) and no reason to risk a cancer in the locker room

You don't free up cap space from cutting him, you lose cap space. It's not a cap hit in the sense that there's dead money but no player and some cap space gain that you could use to sign/re-sign another player.

That’s what I meant. Perhaps my wording was confusing. What I meant to say was keeping Zach as an inactive player at say $5MM per year, or cutting him and eating that same $5MM in dead money is the same effect. No value either way, except a wasted roster spot. I’m no capologist however ….. and I know its not as simple as that ….

Couldn't we put Zach on the PS?? And if a team wanted him wouldn't they have to take on his salary??
