I think it’s pretty obvious now, if not WAY BEFORE THEN that if the Jets would have started MW from the beginning of the season and he could have stayed healthy, the Jets would have about 10-11 wins now and be on their way to the playoffs as a 11-12 win team at the worst.

The Jets either truly believed Zach had his shit together and was ready to go before his preseason injury. Or they knew he didn’t really have his shit together but thought he could get there before his preseason injury or they knew if they started MW, instead of Flacco that would start the controversy of who should be playing. Who knows but they are in this position now primarily because of QB play.

I don’t know if you blame the coaches/coordinators or if this is all Zach! Sometimes no matter what you do, a person just can’t get there. You just can’t help them! So maybe this is all their fault for not realizing it early on or trying to cover it up and not starting MW from day one but it has to change.

Starting Flacco is one of the decisions that make me doubt Saleh.

I’m no Wilson poor Pomo waver, but it’s hard to get pass the fact that with him as the starting QB this team won 5 games and was in position to win a 6th game until the defense blew the Lions game .
For all the great play this team has gotten from White this team has only managed to win 1 game with him at QB and another where the defense blew the game .

That is very misleading or unexplainable isn’t it! It just doesn’t make sense to me. It seems as if earlier this year the defense was playing better for Zach but when MW played, the defense failed him alittle bit. I just don’t get it!

I kinda have a hard time believing that Saleh made this decision without thorough evaluation and feedback from his OC. Hindsight says, it would have been better to start White. But who knows why they made this decision

Some guys don’t show it in practice but then are up for real game play. Maybe that’s White

You HAD to start Zach to start the season. He was the #2 pick starting his second year. As others have mentioned, for some the lights don’t come on until the real games start. We had to find out if Zach was the real deal. He failed MISERABLY, but we had to find out.

If the Jets were looking like a pro offense with White what do you think would happen if they turned the team over to Wilson .

I have no proof but the way this team has rallied around Mike White makes me believe that this was brewing from last season and only escalated into what we’ve witnessed currently.

That is a great point, and honestly there have been rumblings that the team just doesn't like Zach.

If they made the decision to start Zach because of his draft status, and prayed he would "get it", that was a huge strategical blunder.
