I like how he looks here. That said, we've been burned by how he has looked in the past. I will believe he is healthy enough to be relied upon when I see it.
He needs to be healthy since JD has failed at building an acceptable OL.
I would say he built an acceptable line that had unprecedented injuries. He made mistakes, such as with LT. But four starting caliber OTs missed significant time, or the entire season, this past year. Becton, Fant, Brown, and Mitchell all missed major time. I don't know if any team can survive having to play their fifth and sixth OTs as much as the Jets did.
Whatever team brady is on would survive just fine with any number of injured tackles, but I’m thinking that might be mostly because of the rule that no one can touch brady
Maybe it was unprecedented because of the players he chose or maybe because of the strength/conditioning/medical staff that he employed.
It's more like the acceptable "O" line has failed JD by not staying healthy..............................
BUT...............maybe it was just bad luck.
JD seems to have a lot of bad luck.
