I sure did. Good for you Lafleur get off this sinking ship.Got what you wanted TCT!
Lol, WOW!I sure did. Good for you Lafleur get off this sinking ship.
Is his health good enough to come out of retirement??There is one guy out there who checks every box for me. He developed under a Shanahan system, going all the way back to Mike Shanahan. He has extensive NFL play calling experience. He has connections to Saleh, having had Robert on his staff in Houston. He has connections with Joe Douglas from his time in Baltimore. He has rings as both a HC and an assistant. He is available. And he has QB experience and could determine the direction of the franchise at the QB position.
To me, Gary Kubiak makes way, way too much sense.
He cited those issues during the end of his tenure in Denver, but then he came back to the Vikings. I would think he'd like to be back in the game, though probably not as a HC. A lot of those veteran guys who have been there want to keep a foot in the game, but they don't want the stress and burden of being a HC.Is his health good enough to come out of retirement??
I like this but I bet he goes back to Bill.I'll throw another name into the hat, Bill O'Brien former Texan HC and current Alabama OC. Texans under BOB won four AFC South titles and five winning seasons. Get him before Belichick does to help his sluggish offense. He's capable of fixing Zach and whatever vet they'll add. That's a double dip.
Was this current OL ever on the correct foot?So now we get to find out who wants to be OC for an administration on the hot seat with potentially one year of tenure left and no settled QB. Please not a new blocking scheme which puts all the existing offensive linemen on the wrong foot.
It’s a good read and I agree with a lot of it. One thing he slightly skirted around was Elijah Moore. And even Denzel Mims. Two WR’s wanted out. Were they unhappy that Zach sucked? Or tired of the play calling?? Zach Wilson never developed under LaFleur. The offense couldn’t score atD’s in the final 6 games with 4 different QB’s. They are all probably shitty QB’s, but LaFleur had a large roll in the offenses failure. Injuries were huge as well. I think LaFleur was in over his head and didn’t have the experience to right the ship. Let’s hope the next guy is experienced just like the next QB.
I was wondering what we do with the babysitter nowLooks like He didn't want that assistant veteran OC.
Okay. I agree. Newbies need not apply. I want a guy with experience this time.
.
That i a problem. We always have at least oneSo now we get to find out who wants to be OC for an administration on the hot seat with potentially one year of tenure left and no settled QB. Please not a new blocking scheme which puts all the existing offensive linemen on the wrong foot.
