Yep. No draft capital expended. And he is just as good as Carr, and way better than Zippy. With White as primary backup, we would be ok at QB

Rogers thumb has fallen off, he also looked his age when he played against us.
It doesn't leave many choices it has to be said, I had liked Minchew as a stopgap replacement but he wasn't very good in those last two eagles games, unfortunately.
Wilson is done here unless some miracle occurs.

My wife just gave a big yes vote on Jimmy GQ. She also offered to bathe, groom and dress him after all home games.
Gotta say this just might work. I can go for this, only if he can stay healthy and we all know that’s unlikely!
Doesn’t leave much to work with huh??? Only problem with Jimmy G is his health. Other than that he would be pretty solid. He’s only 31, the same age as Carr. So technically speaking, he has a good 5-7 years left of very good play in him, at the least. As long as he can stay healthy and wants to play of course!

I think that's the point of concern. Where are we when he goes down in week two ? Exactly where we are now but paying an additional player that isn't playing.

I would be ok with him also. Same style as MW. This myth about Rodgers has to stop. He ain’t coming here ….. I think Jimmy really wants to go to Vegas, but that’s probably where Rodgers lands. I cant see Jimmy in Tennessee or Washington. If Rodgers ends up back in GB, its Jimmy to Vegas and that leaves Tannehill ( maybe) or Mayfield (UGH).
Definitely an upgrade.

My fear is it ends up Baker Maydouche. Or Andy Dalton which would be as rock bottom as I want to go. Ultimately if he goes with the Douche, he will effectively have dumped the QB that ended up beating him out in Carolina while taking Zach Wilson. That would be immediate dismissal IMO.

Yup, the staying healthy part is a huge problem, especially behind our current OL, I'm hopeful we will be vastly improved in that department next season.
We are on the verge of being a good team, a few key players to elevate the others, it was working well until injuries hit us hard.
No thanks to Jimmy G. Will be lucky to get 4 games from him and 2 from white. Leaves Wilson for 4-5 games before he is broken, physically and mentally. Then musical chairs at QB for the rest of the year. We have no O line. Cant really rely on Becton after missing consecutive seasons, no center , one guard returning from injury in Tucker. No budget for quality FAs.
I am OK with Jimmy G if Mike White comes back. Between the two of them, they play at a high enough level for the team to be legit contenders, and most often, one of them would be healthy. Use the draft capital you would have spent on a QB to continue to bolster the OL - though I suspect the healing of the offseason will help that effort.
