Ironically, Chiefs owner at the time, Lamar Hunt's daughter was playing a game, Super Ball. The first three years it was called , The AFL-NFL Championship Game. Lamar Hunt simply put a twist on it and named the game "Super Bowl". I can hear Curt Gowdy now. He did ours.
