I tuned into the nfl network (I think) all day pregame show at 11ish am, just to see what they could talk about all day. A couple minutes later, youll never guess who they decided to talk about for what seemed like hours. My wife could hear it from the other room and she comes in and says, “ why in the world would they talk about him and how many times can anyone say Tom Brady over and over and over again”

it’s never just Brady , or Tom or, that asshole it’s always tombrady, tombrady, tombrady. Wait until Dak gets hurt next season and he joins the cowboys. It will never end

needless to say, that was the end of football talk for me until the national anthem

On wfan, they said that all those guys in the stupid costumes were dressed like that cause they were supposed to be sperm and Rihanna was the egg to leteveryone know that she was pregnant again.

I wondered what the heck they were supposed to be and in todays fucked up world, that ridiculous nonsense actually makes sense. Wtf?

@Bigmoe You inspired me. Listening to this during dinner and now. Talk about talent on one stage. Sinatra with the Basie Orchestra was such an incredible pairing. One of my favorite "records" from that era. Conducted by Quincy Jones no less. Hope you enjoy it.

That’s pretty cool. Curious as to what formats they are and if they are just the music or video also. I’d imagine you have many going back to formats that aren’t easy to find something to play them on anymore. For sample, Reel to reel…I never had one, but I know reel to reel was considered a high quality music format back in the day. I think it still is

Tons of cds and dvds of bootleg and of course I have every bit of official released stuff.
Most of the concerts are on MP3 files
Yea I’ve gone a little bit over the top but enjoy Frank .
So you see why I don’t mesh with today’s music .
Sound like some really old guy don’t I ?

I stopped liking American music since the British Invasion. I love Doo Wop, not tee shirts or flowered shirts with derby hats. Only recently have I come to respect the Beatles and a few other groups from the 60s. Gimme good old street corner harmony.

I have my hand (and ears) in almost all musical genres. Jazz, rock, rockabilly, folk, doo-wop, big band, pop, classical, even some classic country like Hank Williams. So many wonderful songs throughout the various eras. Unlike you, apart from Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran and the rock & rollers of the late 50s, most of my rock idols are from the post British Invasion. We're lucky to have experienced so much great, timeless music.
