We left to beat the crowd the parking lot and we had to go back to Jersey
The next that he mentions the Monday night vs Dolphins we stayed a little longer and got trapped in the parking lot “cages” the fenced it all in !!!!!!!
I think we got back home to NJ at line 2AM

good old days i was so trashed they were 44 players playing on the field at one time
My dad hated the Monday nite games and the 4 o’clock games
He wasn’t a captain in the Paterson PD yet in the early days probably Sargent then lieutenant and worked Somme crazy ass shifts , Never got any sleep . I was on the job a few years in the early 80s and hated those shifts. Bailed . He stayed on for 41 years .
No one does that !!
