Why can’t the Jets ever have nice things (Lamar Jackson)

In a League where Geno Smith gets 35mil per and Lamar Jackson can't get paid, something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

In the end of all of this, the Ravens will probably match whatever team offers regardless. They are probably just using the rest of the league to gauge where they think Lamar’s worth is and they’ll then bite the bullet and match it, knowing they were never going to let him leave the building period!

Then again, this could be some league owner collusion BS to try to squash that Deshaun Watson guarantee contract trend and get Lamar back to the Ravens at their price regardless! If that’s the case, Lamar needs to not play until the Ravens cut or trade his ass. Pay the man his money!

Yeah I'm not sure about collusion, but guaranteed contracts shouldn't never be offered. I think all contracts should be based on performance only. Maybe some of these bums would continue to work after their payday. You can't pay Lamar based on a single great season. If anything pay him based on him missing 30% of the past two seasons.
