Packers tried to trade for him last year. Maybe Rodgers likes him. Good leader.
What I love the most is JD traded that douche Elijah Moore just so Rodgers could have #8.
After seeing Rodgers' intro today, I saw a genuinely happy,
fresh, and sincerely a player ready to be a Jet legend . We were
one loss away from getting Trevor Lawrence but Gase goofed also in his
last act as a Jet coach. I hope we prosper for the year or so we have Aaron,
because when he does retire rest assured we we will be drafting late in the
first round. So let's go Jets!

Aaron Rodgers was not having fun playing in GB due to his words (influence) being ignored for years. This has to be a breath of fresh air for him having his favorite coach (Hackett), and one of his familiar weapons (Lazard) on the roster. His voice is heard here. The Packer organization has been called out for their handling of stars. The Jets are getting off on the right foot by respecting what Aaron likes. As long as that continues each year, Aaron will continue to have fun and if he remains upright we'll get at least three seasons. That will be enough time to decide Zach's fate.
I hope you’re right but the one you’re most likely wrong on is that Zach Wilson is done as a Jet. He’ll be traded or released in a year or two and the Jets will be drafting a new QB when that happens.
That's exactly what I meant about Zach. Once Aaron stays beyond year two Zach will be replaced by someone in the draft.
Packers converted Rodgers 58.3 M 2023 option bonus into 2024 salary meaning he's only counting 1.215 M (with a 50K workout bonus included) against Jets cap this year and 107.55 M in 2024 unless the Jets restructure this year or an obvious restructure coming next year!

Maybe I'm naive but I think having Rodgers and Hackett on board can do nothing but help ZW. He needed this situation two years ago, so hoping its not too late. Some improvement would help his trade value so I don't hope he continues on the same trajectory as he had last year.

I’m right there with you. Physically ZW has it all. It’s between the ears where his problems are. Who knows. A couple years on the bench with his ears and eyes on Hackett and Rogers, maybe. Probably not, but maybe.
