becton's lack of self awareness (going into year 4 mind you) is ****ing breathtaking..

I see his post as the complete opposite. He has had horrible luck with injuries (yes maybe assisted by his weight) but, when healthy he is an absolute beast. It might be his confidence in his abilities. Stating I am back! Beat me if you can.

in fairness his rookie season i thought he looked like a vet for the most part.. i was all in..
then lawson is stealing his lunch money on the daily in training camp year 2.. then the packers DLine had their way in the joint practices.. then his right knee blows up 2 years running..

It's been mentioned almost in every post in this thread that Becton is not academically inclined. True or not, it is part of the discussion.
As for "not liking Him". Please. The Guy is not up for the job. All I care about. Do you seriously think treating this guy with "Kid Gloves" is still the way to go? Didn't work. He got complacent, He got lazy, and he got fat. Let's see how tough love works because wiping His Butt and telling Him He's special didn’t.

Hopefully this Kid has learned talent isn't enough. Hard Work goes hand and hand with it for sustained success. I hope so because HE is an awesome talent that the Jets sorely need to succeed.

The kid has a ton of talent. The kid eats too much. The kids lower body structure is a problem if he is too large. All we can do is hope for the best at this point. We need him to play well and become a starter.
