You said his eating caused his injuries and that is an untrue statement, if you'd have said his eating curtailed his recovery then you would have become factually correct.
And now Becton is complaining about being put at RT last training camp. In a way I get it because his right knee was injured. On the other hand, don’t come to camp out of shape and that injury wouldn’t be as big of a problem. The differences between this fat baby and AVT are huge. He needs to learn from AVT and play where you are told. I hope he balls out but at this point I don’t care what happens to him.
I guess that is how he got his first quadruple cheese burger.
Now he's come out claiming the Jets coaching staff didn't care that he was injured and made him play injured. You just can't figure these guys out. Why did he wait until now to publicly make a complaint instead of raising a stink at the time. He also claimed that they shouldn't have made him play right tackle, I know they tell every player on the team that they have to be able to play multiple positions That's how the Jets roll. I guess he thinks this is a good way to make points with the coaching staff who have been raving about how well he has been doing getting back in playing shape. They came to his defense every time they were asked about him and he thanks them by bad mouthing them now. He'll be lucky if they don't trade him to one of the bottom 3 teams in the league. We could sure use his skill set this season but if he's going to be a cancer then let's just operate right now and be done with it.
The mindset (of many) have been to label Becton a bust, so any productivity is a plus.

If the bad mouthing from him is true and correct so is the title
If nothing else perhaps playing in another market will get him where he wants to play. If a young buck like him can't outplay Brown a 38 year old and he wants to play LT it may become a distraction. He may be worth a 4th or 5th for next year. Can't see Jets getting a player and don't see him getting waived this year.
That might very well be the case. It was not the smartest move for a player looking to get to play the position he wants. Piss off the coach, yep, that will work.

Speaking out the way he did was just dumb on his part. He could have said that he was recovering from injury, and moving to the right side left him exposed on a recovering leg which made it worse until it gave out.
Let everyone else put 2 and 2 together that this was a poor recovery move by the coaching staff. He didn’t need to say anything about them caring or anything else. This is a business, they don’t care about anyone
