to a long term deal?? i would say there's no shot douglas gives him one regardless of how well he plays or how healthy he stays.. i can see him getting franchised though..

Don't know about long term, but I'm sure if he plays well this season JD will offer him a new contract (probably something that can be revisited with voidable years after 2 years)
If he plays well he will get a much better offer than the Jets will be willing to match unless they franchise tag him . I have a feeling the title of this thread is on point .
