Zach Wilson is expendable and a team like the Raiders who signed injury prone Garrapolo will need a QB around week 6, get a 3rd round pick for the number 2 overall. With that being said are there any QBs worth a damn, yes. Davis Mills in the same draft of this punk ass Hero Baller was taken in the third round, trade for him with Streveler on practice squad have a solid third string QB in Boyle. Mills has the same composure of Aaron Rodgers with out the drama. In this offense Mills could succeed, is a capable pocket passer who can scoot. Wilson can not be here anymore he failed, the offensive coordinator failed and he was fired, part ways my ass.
Have to understand there is OC & QB and DC & MLB after that players can adjust to fit the roles needed or the scheme outside can be adjusted to allow players to accommodate to what the team is missing. Look at last year the only QB to succeed is total opposite of ZW in every sense of the word. The OC should of drafted a more oriented pocket passer not a mobile dip shit that did not care to learn how to fit in with the team. It was his own team mates that bitched about him mid season, that should never happen. No matter how much his uncle has.
As for DC he needs that MLB to set the defense to be the man holding everyone accountable. No player is perfect so whatever imperfections that linebacker has usually that strong safety signed usually fills those voids.
Depending on scheme you fill accordingly, this team has yet to accomplish that until Robert Saleh. I told you guys give a full season for the DL to come together and they came together quicker than expected but we did not have the proper depth now skies the limit. Our defense is Top 3 this year, we are stacked on the OL, TE, WR, RB and finally have a fucking QB. We just need a true backup because No. 2 is not that.
