My mistake. I saw two dates on the same day. We're beginning a week earlier due to our first HOF game in August! One reference was July 19, the other the 20th since rookies and vets are reporting the same day.
I plead guilty as charged.

Thanks BM, was starting to think I heard it wrong all those years in my grandmother's house. She was from outside Naples, and it was always called gravy.
