Wow. This shocks me. Do they trade Carter and use the draft capital to try to land an upgrade at OT? Bakhtiari?
Let it play out until the end of preseason, injuries happen all of the time so we are in a position of strength at RB. Perhaps I am looking through rose colored glasses, but I still think that the OL will gel. New voices, scheme, etc. won't be fixed right away by adding another new piece. Just my opinion.
I've had the same thoughts on Bakhtiari. His name has been floating around. Doesn't He have some kind of Insane salary cap number upcoming? I know there is something with his status.
He is to injury prone to be counted on. His contract is cheap for this year and he could be released after the season with no cap hit.
From what I've been reading it appears that Carter is staying. Maybe they try to store Knight on PS. Kinda make sense.
Unfortunately, he wouldn't last on ps very long. If I were a GM that needed a RB, and Knight were available, I'd sign him in a heartbeat. He's was a rookie of the week last season and I wouldn't have to give up any compensation for him.

They may just keep him on ST. I agree, if we move him to PS he will get scooped
Absolutely would lose him from PS. I think ST is where he will be stashed for safe keeping.
