I'd still like to see Becton lighter...but he's not pushing 400 and wearing spanx to cover it up.Fingers crossed that with him losing the weight his knees will take the pounding required to keep him on his feet and playing, a fully fit Becton is a beast at LT or RT and we do need him to be on that field all the time.
I'm not sure what the average OL man weighs but I thought Becton was down to 350?I'd still like to see Becton lighter...but he's not pushing 400 and wearing spanx to cover it up.
I'd be ecstatic if he were 350. The average LT is about 320-330. I don't know about the rest of the line.I'm not sure what the average OL man weighs but I thought Becton was down to 350?
Having checked that in stones and pounds that is still 25 stone, blimey.
It's hardly surprising that things go pop at the speeds these guys are hitting at that weight.
I looked on Google and it says he is 165kg about 360 but he did look 'thin' in those photo's lolI'd be ecstatic if he were 350. The average LT is about 320-330. I don't know about the rest of the line.
His weight is probably something that can't be googled. Reported eight and weight on players are not very reliable.I looked on Google and it says he is 165kg about 360 but he did look 'thin' in those photo's lol

If Becton plays like he did against Tampa and stays healthy, he will be a LT. It's just a question of when.IF Becton can stay healthy, and is willing to play multiple positions He will be an asset to this team. LT will be there, if He earns it. Let's face it, the guy they are counting on isn't exactly a sure thing. A healthy confident Becton is a guy you keep. Not a whiny entitled kid. Hopefully this young man is realizing the difference.
Another reason to hate Lafleur...the former QBs. It was clear after week 1 that Flacco can no longer play in the NFL. Yet somehow he made it out of camp and to the end of the season. Yes personnel decisions are Saleh's domain. But Saleh doesn't change any personnel on offense with out the OC on board with the decision. Oh yeah and Streveler throws underhand. It's not about getting it, it more about durability he always showed promise on the field but also take into count the former OC did not know what he was doing outside the backup quarterbacks he had to rely on for success.
LaFleur just ran his system. He didn't care if he had the right personnel, he just ran what he knew. This is why he refused to use certain players and misused others! They couldn't run his system so he didn't want them. Forget the thought of actually running a system that fits the talent you have.Another reason to hate Lafleur...the former QBs. Understood. But Strev and Flacco didn't belong in any system.LaFleur just ran his system. He didn't care if he had the right personnel, he just ran what he knew.
