No way is JD and Saleh gonna waste this D and this season with Zach. We gonna have to trade for another QB like tomorrow. My guess is Brissett. wentz or McCoy ain’t gonna cut it

I don't see him trading for one. I see McCoy or Grier. What a disaster and JD is to blame for some of it. This is his OL which got Rodgers killed. This team had zero chance with this OL. many of us had major concerns, but JD fucked this up.

Apparently Saleh has anointed Zach as starting QB for the rest of the season. Surely not, Hackett doesn't trust him to run the full playbook. IMO Boyle is currently a better QB than Zach, so if Zach wets the bed against Dallas Boyle may get the start against the Patriots. But if they don't want Boyle we should move quickly now to get a replacement who can start Game 3. The replacement would have to be cheap and we might have to waive Boyle to get the cap space. We either overpay for someone else's backup or we roll the dice on somebody currently out of the league, like Wentz.
He was competent for one season. Been trash most of his career. He is experienced trash though.
Maybe he is due another?
Roll with Zach for now. Or pluck Will Grier off the Bengals practice squad.

Until the defense and fans demand he is pulled. Then we are apparently rolling with Boyle. We know that other teams have better backups than Zach, he was rated something like 31st among starting QBs last season.
So I’m listening to all the sports shows and they keep talking about other QB options now. What options??? Trade for Kirk Cousins, Ryan Tannehill or Matt Stafford and lose that draft capital. Sign a free agent like Carson Wentz or Joe Flacco or Matt Ryan? Last is to sign Tom Brady, COME ON REALLY!!!
Our best option now is to trust in Zach. I hate to say it but it’s true! He’s been here all along and hopefully learned quite a bit from A-Rod! He didn’t win the game for us yesterday but he didn’t lose it either. That’s a step up and it’s better than nothing. Last year that would definitely have been a lose with Zach!
The Jets have to ride with the kid and let the chips fall where they may. See what he’s learned and maybe it will be enough for at least a wild card playoff berth. Hopefully A-Rod will still help him from a distance and as invested as he’s been, I think he will. Zach looks up to Aaron like no other, so maybe this is what he needs!

I hear you. Every option will be explored. And we may not wind up with anything better than Zach. Philip Rivers returning is a possibility BTW. But I digress. We also have Hackett instead of Lafleur at OC.
Unfortunately there is no one available who will give us a better chance to win. That being said, they still need to bring in another QB. If Wilson gets hurt, we are in an even worse place.
