Other QB options!

So I’m listening to all the sports shows and they keep talking about other QB options now. What options??? Trade for Kirk Cousins, Ryan Tannehill or Matt Stafford and lose that draft capital. Sign a free agent like Carson Wentz or Joe Flacco or Matt Ryan? Last is to sign Tom Brady, COME ON REALLY!!!

Our best option now is to trust in Zach. I hate to say it but it’s true! He’s been here all along and hopefully learned quite a bit from A-Rod! He didn’t win the game for us yesterday but he didn’t lose it either. That’s a step up and it’s better than nothing. Last year that would definitely have been a lose with Zach!

The Jets have to ride with the kid and let the chips fall where they may. See what he’s learned and maybe it will be enough for at least a wild card playoff berth. Hopefully A-Rod will still help him from a distance and as invested as he’s been, I think he will. Zach looks up to Aaron like no other, so maybe this is what he needs!

The defense will keep us in games. We don't need Zach to be a world beater, but we do need him to be efficient and mid tier. If he can manage to be OK, we will be in games.

Oh and unless we trade for Stafford, Zach is our best bet (he knows the offense, he knows the players), it will just be tough to pickup someone off the street and have them carry the team.

This is how I felt last season. ZERO expectations, I just wanted to enjoy some football.

This season, I fell into the trap and was full hope! After last night, I'm just back to "give me some games that I can enjoy"

I just didn't want them to embarrass us last night. And they didn't. Even though Buffalo gave us the game the Jets played their ass off. Going forward I just want this team to rally around each other. If Zach can realize it's ok to punt and just sprinkle in a few key throws this team can win some games with this defense and run game. This OL is trash outside of AVT. Run the ball 80% of the time and play good defense and ST.

Multiple sources are reporting that the Jets are talking to Chad Henne. If he comes, he is likely to be starting in a few weeks. Trouble is, we will have to go through another Patriots humiliation to get to the point where the switch would be made.

I have a feeling Zach will be better this year! Call me a fool but I believe he’ll be serviceable/average at least. That might be good enough to help the team win 9-10 games and maybe playoffs. MAYBE!

With A-Rod the possibilities were unlimited!

You're a fool for sure, but I think Zach has better weapons with Lazard and Cook. Plus Breece is back and they were winning when Breece was healthy. Theoretically Hackett is better than LaFleur. Becton is back for a few more minutes. He has Rodgers to bounce things off of. It would be a hell of a story if Zach helped this team make the playoffs.

Lol, FIGURES YOU’D say that TCT! I was expecting and waiting on it. Here’s my response from this point on for the rest of the year and hopefully Zach doesn’t let the team and us down.

We will all miss A-Rod to the highest extent but this is football and shit happens. So we have no choice but to move on. This team is still good enough to make the playoffs at least. So this is my best and only response from this point on! We roll with Zach and let the chips fall where they may. In Zach we have no choice but to trust!
