Is he the same ZW as we drafted or can AR along with Hackett control this wreckless signal caller from imploding and destroying what seems like the best offense we have had in a long while. We have three solid core running backs in Breece Hall, Dalvin Cook and Mike Carter. Add in a receiver that makes catches look easy. Even Zach can not fuck this up, or will he?

Our defense will come to play every down that is for damn certain, but can this team as a team take the next step even without Rodgers under center?

This is my best and only response. We roll with Zach and let the chips fall where they may. In Zach we have no choice but to trust!

So I’m listening to all the sports shows and they keep talking about other QB options now. What options??? Trade for Kirk Cousins, Ryan Tannehill or Matt Stafford and lose that draft capital. Sign a free agent like Carson Wentz or Joe Flacco or Matt Ryan? Last is to sign Tom Brady, COME ON REALLY!!!

Our best option now is to trust in Zach. I hate to say it but it’s true! He’s been here all along and hopefully learned quite a bit from A-Rod! He didn’t win the game for us yesterday but he didn’t lose it either. That’s a step up and it’s better than nothing. Last year that would definitely have been a lose with Zach!

The Jets have to ride with the kid and let the chips fall where they may. See what he’s learned and maybe it will be enough for at least a wild card playoff berth. Hopefully A-Rod will still help him from a distance and as invested as he’s been, I think he will. Zach looks up to Aaron like no other, so maybe this is what he needs!

In Zach we have no choice but to trust! Everything happens for a reason and it’s his time again, but this time he has to do it better. He doesn’t have to be lights out, just good enough to show he’s a competent QB and he can grow from there. Let’s see if he has what it takes!

what we want to see is progress moving forward. Good news is there is tangible progress already........he has elevated his layup rate (the easy completions) this year between preseason and Game 1..........so if that mountain has been climbed, he will make it easier on himself and the offense to just be average. Now I will say the variable here is the OL - it better gel and ascend in performance or that unit will torpedo progress of the QB. Mark Sanchez was carried by the OL.....this unit needs to be better to help Zach. Now I also expect to see playcalling this week more suited to Zach.....so I'm excited to see what we have

At this point, talk is cheap, either he improves on the field and we succeed, or he doesn't and they need to finally admit their error and move on. I'm praying Hackett can help develop him and we improve on last season. He is our only hope at this point.
